Unlike me, but it’s Thursday morning, so no thinking, just running ☁️🌧☁️🏃‍♀️

Oh and faffing, but not much👍

I missed the drizzle 😛

Great work getting it done, with minimal faffing too!

Well done - I’m off out soon - I’ve arranged to run with a friend so no cancelling because of rain or tiredness or any of my usual excuses. I’ve not run with a friend before. I usually run on my own with just headphones for company. I’m looking forward to running in our local country park where I feel it’s too lonely to run on my own - but I’m a bit apprehensive- she’s at least 10 years younger than me and usually runs faster a further than me. Should be fun eeeek... I’m loving your plan of minimal thinking and faffing and just getting out - I did that on c25k but seem to have lost that incentive

good!! Regardless of her speed you can do the warm up together and each run at your pace and then meet for tea (and cake) and discuss your run. You'll have a great time

It was good actually- we ran and gossiped together

Brilliant. Running and chatting. You are very accomplished. That used to be one of my biggest ambitions to be able to do that. Now I can.

Drizzle is fine. A cap keeps you relatively dry 😃

Don’t forget your jacket! 👍.

We don't have to ask why.

Are you joining the next VRB meet?

Possibly. I have rather a lot on having just volunteered for lots of lantern making workshops and then an allotment came up, and I'm booked on a weekend course one weekend next month. Can't keep up with myself, even if I run! I would love to though.

Well done the Baddie. I went out after Pilates between the showers but I only managed 1km with tiredness from the GSR. Still it’s a shake out before parkrun on Saturday. 💦 🏃‍♀️💦

Sounds like the perfect recovery run. Short and sweet.

It's the only way BTP. Get out of the door before you have time to think it through! What we do does not bear rational scrutiny! 🤷‍♂️

I ran in the drizzle too, my husband opened the door and said ‘it’s absolutely pouring down’ (think he was trying to get out of it!) I stuck my hand out and said ‘it’s only a little drizzle, get your shoes on we are going..’ So glad we did, hardly got wet and managed 5 personal records on Strava!

I started the C25k in January, the old fella only started mid September and I can hardly keep up with him....very annoying, but on the plus side he’s obviously a good pacemaker! 😀🏃‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️

Well done for going. Annoying they're often faster than us but great you can go running together 👍

I was working in it then decided I would come home as I was soaked and getting cold. I walked past someone on a run on my way home, he looked even wetter than me but looked like he was having much more fun. I felt very jealous but carrying too much and wearing safety boots, so probably a bit impractical to break into a trot 😂

Hope you’re all dried off and warm now 👍

Oh yes BTP!! 😁! Brilliant! I managed to get out before the rain today, but there was a chill in the air in the earlier hours. Great stuff! Well done! 🤗❤️
