So there I was... sat on the sofa with my running gear on, psyching myself up for a Friday night run, husband comes downstairs and says "you don't have to go"... my response "yes I do!" Trainers on, stretches done and off I go for a speed session from the c25k+ series. The first time I did one of these a few weeks ago it nearly broke me π but now I'm possibly even starting to enjoy them... π plus taken nearly 2 minutes off my parkrun pb π
No parkrun for me tomorrow, I'm away for 36 hours with my mum for her birthday, first time without 2 kids since boy no 2 was born just under 9 months ago, I'm beyond excited!!!
Thanks Buddy and good to see your blood tests all came back ok. I do think the time of year has something to do with our energy levels. Maybe ease off for a little and once spring has put a bounce back in your step you'll feel much better
Those +C25K series runs do help you with your running, I have done all of them, I hope you have a nice time with your mum for her birthday, wish her a happy birthday from all of us on this forum.
Well done you - your husband knows just how to get you off the couch and out running doesnβt he?! Enjoy your weekend sans littleβuns- well deserved!
ππ I won't tell you I had an amazing time then π in my defence... first time away for the night without a husband or a child in 4 years.... does that make it any better?? π€¦ββοΈ
Paid my penance tonight though... 5k in the cold rain!
