Today’s park run was at Hyde park Manchester but with a different route absolutely knackered much harder and it was about 3.5miles in total this was due to a diesel spillage so part of the park run was re-routed.
Plus this week was a hard work out.
Monday gym workout/10k night run
Tuesday gym workout
Wednesday 10k night run
Thursday gym workout/hill rep running
Friday day off
Saturday 5k park run
Sunday was going to do a 10mile run but today my legs were fatigued at park run so another time for a 10mile run.
So tomorrow a nice walk instead 😉👍

Wow Kev, you have had a hard week of running, you certainly deserve a break, all I did this week was my usual pre breakfast exercises, a 5K run on Wednesday morning and a parkrun this morning, that's nothing compared to what you have been doing this week.
Tomorrow I will be doing a 12K 🚶 walk, on part of our local half marathon trail run.
Thank you Alan looking forward to a break me and the wife are going to Edinburgh the second week in December so I’m having the week off all training as I’ve not had a break from training since June.
I go to Edinburgh twice a year, at festival time to watch all the free street shows and on the Monday just before Christmas 🤶 🎄, then I climb up Calton Hill and walk through the Edinburgh Christmas Market, watch out if you walk through that, you could spend a fortune on buying the thousands of things they have at that Xmas Market.
Thank you buddy yes I’m definitely having the rest of the weekend off as I’ve ran 19 miles this week and I’m absolutely loving it apart from today as my legs were like lead so I need to listen to my body and stop pushing myself with time I’m going to improve.
I’m just watching out for the Vivoactive 3 to go at a good price but I have a feeling it won’t as it’s the gun metal one currently at £159 was looking at polar but know nothing about them happy running Buddy 😉👍
Normally I think it's nice to try out a new route but not when it makes Parkrun harder! Enjoy your walk tomorrow, good call to leave your ten miler for another day. ☺
Yes normally but that wasn’t fun good job I’m tail walking next Saturday as it’s the same route again. And it’s my birthday next Saturday and we are going away to Edinburgh the second week of December can’t wait for a week of training 😉👍
Yes I have every week is similar only difference is rep night but I only do it if my legs feel good after leg day as I do both that day normally.
Yes I’m looking forward to a break we are going to Edinburgh the second week in December for 4 days so a whole week of training apart from park run a nice and slow jog to get back into it 😉👍
