First run as a grandma

Yesterday I drove for 8hrs on the water logged motorways so that I could get up North for the birth of my grandson.

This morning I got into my running gear and headed out for my first run as a grandma, did my 5km run to complete week 1. It took me 35mins at a steady pace due to being terrified of slipping on the fallen leaves, my feet were soggy by I got home but I felt amazing :)

Going for cuddles soon and aim to do my first run of week 2 on Sunday.

Awww, congratulations tiggs1 ...what an amazing Granny you're going to be and a great role model for your new Grandson 🤗….

It's very slippy on the pavements at the moment with all the leaves so carefully does it...good luck with week 2

Congratulations on the birth of your grandson, that is really wonderful news, also, well done on running that 5K in 35 minutes regarding the underfoot situation with leaves, now go and celebrate becoming a grandmother with loads of cuddles.

Fantastic! Congratulations on becoming a Grandma. Enjoy your cuddles.
