Planned hike up Snowdon (via Watkins path) had to be cancelled due to the unfavourable weather forecast. Very heavy rain Saturday morning and high winds however all was not lost because the weather improved and we had a pleasant low level stroll along a river and a lakeside picnic. I had packed my running gear (of course!) so this morning I had an early morning 7k with the doggie before the long drive home. We trotted on a footpath around a lake, near where we were staying, and down into the valley - magnificent views. Wonderful to be running among the mountains again....memories of very windy, wet runs on Skye!
Happy Running everyone! (and for those on IC, I feel for you)

Just read about Snowdon and the other peaks at the weekend.
I watched 'Edie' last week, and I would like to go to the Scottish Highlands so much. Tickets are quite expensive, and it would be a costly journey not affordable.
