My turn to say I did it!

Can't believe I did it! Upto 8k wasn't bad then it was a bit more of an effort but if it was easy it wouldn't be a challenge!

Very proud of myself! Although wondering what is next? Is there a next??

Congratulations on your first 10k - a great achievement! 👍😀 As for 'what next?' - maybe consolidate the distance and look for a 10k event to enter, if that appeals? Whatever path you choose - good luck!🙂

You certainly do - there is a pinned post on the right where you can ask for your 10k badge!👍 There are even more badges to be earned on the 'Marathon running and Race Support forum' (when your ready😉! ) 10 mile, HM, Marathon! Good luck!🙂

Yikes I just looked up the length of marathons and half marathons! My eyes couldn't believe it! I am only one quarter of the way of a half marathon!

Congratulations on that first 10k.. great time too. As above, consolidation is the best next step... and while you’re doing that you can work out where you want to go next.

I was thinking to consolidate then go back to adding five mins. See where (or how far) that takes me? Some new running locations would be nice too... Lol

Well done. Great time too. Next could be speed over shorter distances, even longer long distances, or purely running to enjoy. A personal milestone for me was getting to be able to run and chat 😄

Brilliant run CM; good time too👏👏👏I decided to speed up on shorter runs post 10k but also stuck to the pattern of 1x4/5k 1XPark Run and one longer run each week. I just expanded the long run to 10 miles in stages, after doing a few consolidation 10ks. All very gradual. I found out, the hard way, that I needed to do daily leg strengthening exercises as the distances increased, but that might be an age thing!! Well done and happy running😊😊
