10hr marathon

After a 10hr marathon session of painting I managed a little 3km recovery run (recovering from all that painting) to my friends, and got a lift back after dinner. Hurrah for friends who don’t mind sweaty dinner guests.

I’m way behind on my yearly total, but getting there with the external maintenance while the weather holds, so I’m happy.

Wow, up to marathons now!

I was impressed when I read that. Even more impressed when I saw it was painting :)

We really need to do some redecoration at home, but there are always better things to be doing.

Like running, or sunning in the glorious weather we've had over the weekend.

I sometimes think decorating is harder than running! 😅 Well done! 👏👏

Sounds great and yes those are nice friends! Good to have food to run towards, might start mapping where my friends live....

I wish I had more friends who can cook within a 5km radius. Or even 10km 😄

Great friends who don't mind you being sweaty how nice is that. I hate painting and decorating would rather clean the house as I like cleaning😂 hope you enjoyed your run 😊😊

Tailchaser found our paint said max temp of 25°C so ended up painting just before dark!

Mine just said overcoating time was shorter in the heat, so it speeded the job up. You could try using yatch enamel too. I did my radiator in it and it's great.
