Good luck to my GTFC who has just set off on Redcar half marathon and doesn’t know I’m telling you all about it! 😍

I have just noticed his excellent finishing time of 1:38:35*, a big congratulations to him,

*PS I notice that his Gun time was 1:55:14, perhaps that chip time is incorrect,.

Thank you so much Al. 1.55.14 was the chip time and my Strava was 1.54.44 but I'm pleased to finish well.

Thank you Sir Alan. It has been a target of mine so to do it was so rewarding. It was hot and very windy but I managed to keep my pacing consistent and that did it for me.

Just finished C25K again, but resting a grizzly hip which appeared out of the blue.

Best of luck to your fella Tasha, I’d say he’s over the line by now. Like yourself I fell out of love with running, nightshifts and a dicey knee, it’s rehabbing slowly, had to pull out of GNR, I’ve currently downloaded a half marathon training plan and going out with my best buddy ever.. Bailey. She just trots along side me and we get it done, the enjoyment is returning as it will with you. Sometimes we get ourselves into a bit of a funk, comparing ourselves to how we were when we started out etc, but you’re still a runner nonetheless... best of luck to you, myself and my buddies, not the 4 legged variety, are running LLHM next April, you never know, might just see you at the start line 👍
