I have been going for my usual runs three times a week, every week, for maybe 6 months straight now. But over the last month, I have been really struggling. Firstly, I keep feeling sluggish and keep getting slower and not been able to push for more than 7k. Secondly, it seems I have developed a lower arch on my left foot only, which is causing soreness in the foot and IT band issues on the other leg, which has also led to another problem of being incredibly difficult to find shoes that are comfortable for me. It is all very disheartening at the moment. Maybe when the weather cools down a bit, it will be a bit easier for my old bones to run again.
The good news is, my legs are very muscular nowadays!π
