I will hold my hand up, I thought there was another week in June, so here is the certificate for Jump into Summer Quest with the certificate. Sorry for the confusion
What is the Quest?
The aim of the Quest is to help you find a focus or goal that you would like to achieve by the end of the Quest period.
The Quest takes one calendar month. You can join at any point during that time.
I ask that you are a C25K Graduate before joining the Quest. The reason for this is that pre-graduation your week is very much structured according to the C25K programme, and I wouldn't want the Quest to interfere with that.
Most popular goals are:
★ To run three times a week
★ To slowly increase distance
★ To train for a specific race
★ To add Stretch and Strength exercises to your weekly routine
This is a personal challenge, so it's completely up to you! If you want to join, all you have to do is comment below with something like:
I would like to join the Quest, or, count me in! I want to ..............
At the end of the Quest, there will be a certificate for you to download and keep!!

My main goal this month is to continue on the Bridge to 10k programme (7k this week...eeek ! ).
I also failed last month on adding the strength and quest into my week. I really feel I need to do it and eek out the time from somewhere. Fingers crossed.
I also hope to get a sub 40 minutes 5k this month. It's a secondary goal, I won't be really pushing for it, but if I want to move into longer runs I really need to get my speed up slowly to actually be able to fit it all in my day.
The strength and flex is work is one of the main things that will help towards your second goal. Strong legs makes for faster running. I’m working on mine at the moment too and I do feel a bit stronger. 😀. Happy running. Rfc x
Thanks, I know, I really want to add it in. It's not motivation that is really lacking more than finding the time without setting my alarm for 5am every day : ( i am loving running and feeling better but I just wish there were more hours in the day.
I went through a time of having trouble fitting it in, I found some help in doing squats and stretches while waiting for the kettle to boil, it is quite a good place as well as I found as I did my calf stretches and going up on to tiptoes I could hold on to the work surface to balance myself. I still add a few in while I’m waiting for the kettle to boil 😀.
June has finished on a real low for me. My family has suffered a horrible upset, and I have been needed by my daughter and son in law this past week, and will continue to be there as they move forward.
I will start fresh next Quest, a little further behind in my race to the Moon than anticipated... so we shall see..but I am planning on running in a Parkrun next month...

Not sure if this is the end of the June Quest or the start of July’s 🤔, but 3 targets achieved in June ✅can be stretched for July🙄. Long slow run up to 18k🤪, race pace run up to 13k in 71’30”😕, 5k treadmill run to include 2k (continuously this time rather than 4 x 500m) at 13kph😤.
It is the end of the June one. I made a mistake and forgot to finish this one ☹️.Oldfloss is starting a new one next week. 😀. Well done on achieving your three targets.
It is totally my fault. I thought there was a few days of June left this week. Shall we’ll all transition onto to yours. That will make more sense. I so sorry to of caused an upset. Rfc x
