So thrilled to have done the 8k run. Slowly but surely.. but after I finished I noticed I had goosebumps on my arms. Guessing that’s not a good sign, as I was pushing quite hard... but is it a problem? I felt fine otherwise. Breathing ok. Legs ok. The goosebumps went after about 10-15 minutes of walking home. It was sunnier and hotter than I expected though. Any advice to this novice would be greatly appreciated!!

Well done Cosmo. 8k is fantastic, you’re really getting there. But sorry, no goosebump wisdom I’m afraid. Hopefully someone can help you with those. 🤞
Thank you! Very big smiles today all day I think 😄 I did a bit of an online search... looks like it might be to do with getting over-heated. Makes sense as the sun came out half way through and I just couldn’t find enough shade, but didn’t want to give up!!
Aaah ok, that could explain why I was feeling cold after my last long runs when there was sun and not enough shade! I think that I overheated a little bit during running, after the cool down walk and finally drinking and stretching at home three or four times I began feeling cold. I got a warm shower afterwards and then everything was ok. Maybe I should have a look at this!
