The plan was to do my short 2.5k session. Visiting my friend, we set out on this ‘short’ run together from her house. Hillier than my usual area but I really enjoyed it. Got to 2.5k at the top of a hill so I chose to carry on running ‘as it was a decent downhill’. Then the voice in my head was telling me, ‘oh just run this nice flat bit to next junction’. I Ended up doing 3.5k and walking to 4K. Just couldn’t give up sooner, as still had plenty left to give. Who is this new me?? 😂😜🏃♀️🏃♀️

Just be aware, Dottie, the short run is deliberately planned that short so as to try to ensure that your total weekly distance doesn't increase too much in one go ……… but then if it feels good ……..
