Forgot my inhalers again

Ive only had them just over a year and it still doesn’t come naturally to me. I ran on Thursday last and had a pretty good run, then didn’t do Park Run on Saturday because I wandered round Cheddar Gorge with my son, on a late Christmas present day out, then drove my daughter back home Sunday so didn’t go out then and was looking forward to today’s run.

So this morning I was well hydrated, in all my gear, all tech charged up, no rain and off I went. It was weird as I was struggling in my brisk walk and then off I went running and immediately it was a battle. Not the normal Toxic 10 - just a real struggle. Usually if there’s a lot of pollen I can smell it and it didn’t seem too bad so I couldn’t understand it. I managed 2k but my head was spinning and I was fighting to breathe. Really dizzy and thought I was going to keel over.

I managed to walk home wobbilly and then saw my inhalers there on the table. I leave them there at night then put them by the kettle after I’ve used them so I remember to use them at night before bed. I’d not used either.

Well at least I’m glad I know what it was but it did frighten me at the time when I wasn’t sure. I haven’t been like that before. And don’t want to again.

I hope you're ok now !

I hear you. I nearly ended up in hospital like that.

Do you have a bag or waist pack thingy (I'm sure there's a technical term but it escapes me) where you can get a 2nd of each inhaler and leave them in there ?

I have 2 inhalers too but only 1 for emergencies, I have a double of that, one always in my handbag and one that moves round. Just an idea.
