Hi there. I am sorry we canโt give C25k badges in the bridge forum, we can only give out 10km badges. but if you would like to hop on over to the Couch forum Oldfloss will get it sorted for you ๐.
Hello I have just run a whole 10k without stopping thanks to JuJuโs magic plan and Roseabiโs encouragement ๐ So proud! Can I have my badge please ๐ค
Not quite sure if it counts or not as I still have 3 weeks to complete on ju-ju- 's plan working on the distance version, but tonight I ran for an hour and covered 8k, so either way, I'm feeling quite pleased with myself...
We have two separate ones. We do it because some only want to run for an hour and stop and we felt they still should get a badge but most wait for the 10km one, but you donโt have to.
I've only just switched from a hybrid (2 x distance shorter runs and 1 x time longer run) to the full on distance version, so I'm happy to wait too. Actually seems like it may even be a possibility now...
Well I finally did it this morning - 10 k in 1 hr 17 minutes. Quite consistent pace throughout, Iโm pleased to say except I really speeded up for the last k. End was in sight obviously.
Not sure where to go next tbqh. I know all about consolidating as I try to encourage new C25k graduates to do that, but should I just stick with 4, 5 and a little bit further each week? Donโt think I can gear myself up to doing 10 k every week! Would say once a month be a good plan, perhaps?
(I have no plans to head on up to 1/2 marathon as the knees wouldnโt stand it.)
Grateful for further advice! As well as my badge, obviously, please!
Hi Seajay21 has run a 10K - unbelievable as that is, I have actually gone and been and done it, and even more unbelievably I want to repeat the experience!!
I ran for 60 minutes this morning. Do you have any shiny Grad 60 badges? If so, I'd like one, please. If not, it's OK. I'll ask again when I get to 10K.
Only just realised there was a bridge to 10K forum. Iโve been running 10K and further since middle of may. (Except now Iโm injured, hoping this forum will keep me motivated for when Iโm allowed back out there to run again)
So sorry your have an injury. Would you like your badge now as you have earned it, or do you want to leave it as a little carrot as you slowly build up after injury? Rfc x
10k this morning!! Life, logistics and heatwaves (yes, California gets them too!) have meant that it's taken me longer to reach this point than I planned, but it feels so good and now I can get on with training for my HM in November!!
Hey there, you wonderful people. I bin an dun the 10k, in fact a 12k, thanks to Ju-ju and co. Feel at 63 there is some life in the old dog yeti! Thanks for all the encouragement and support!
