Hi. I have completed week 9 run 3 today. It was windy and raining but I was still smiling when I finished! Looking forward to having my graduation badge. Thank you.
I graduated on Wednesday. I’m loving it and never thought at the beginning I would ever be able to do it. Thanks to this programme/app I managed it and plan to continue.
Hi RFC, please can I also have a Graduate 10 badge? I completed C25K nearly 2 years ago and I’m pleased to say I have continued to run 1-2 times a week since then. Always on my own, as not had the courage to join a park run as I’m very slow. But smiling away happily as I jog along admiring the views, waving to other runners and humming along to music or the stamina podcast. My aim initially post C25K was to be able to just go out and run 5K without thinking about it. Moving on to do the same with 10K. I’ve done 10K a few times over the last year but they were not comfortable. This week I ran 10K with a spring in my step, slow as usual, but I felt that this was now the real thing and warranted the badge.
I don’t post as I am a little shy, but I read the posts. So thank you to those that do post as they make me smile and I am part of the family. Running has made a big difference to my life and I will be forever grateful to the special people who run and manage the forums, mentors and fellow runners.
I am treating myself to a new pair of shoes as the soles are now running thin. I shall continue to slowly jog with a challenge of being able to cope with hills (try to avoid as I struggle currently).
Ran my first 10k yesterday. Quite proud of my little self, when I think that this time last year I couldn't run at all! ... and who'd have thought I would be getting up at 6am on my day off to do it!
