After graduating C25K back in February, all completed on the treadmill, I've slowly and steadily been transitioning outside. Today I ran 5k outside, first time ever, feels like graduating all over again
Somewhat chuffed with myself ... especially since I had another triumphant venture outside my comfort zone today, delivering a 20 minute slot at a training event for my business. Was very tempting to just flop when I got home, so going out and nailing that 5k felt VERY good π

I think in my head I've been working on four separate graduations ... 30 mins on treadmill, 5k on treadmill, 30 mins outside and 5k outside. Now I've ticked them all off π
Brilliant well done Ethelbert. Must admit that I'm bit of a fairweather jogger so did a lot of my C25k in the gym but now I love running outside, seeing other runners and lots of those people who can only walk!!
I have a few ... consolidating the 5k outside is definitely one, braving an actual parkrun another! I've done just short of 55 minutes on the treadmill (once) so steadily increasing distance outside to match that is a general target, which I probably need to break down a bit into more specific interim targets. Definitely like having something to aim at though βΊ
