I’ve had a few messages wondering what has happened to me. Just wanted to check in to say I’m still alive and running. 🙌🏼🏃🏻♀️🙌🏼.
I’ve been doing a 10-12km run a week since graduating earlier this month. I throw in a couple of 5k runs so still keeping to 3 runs a week. I’m really enjoying my runs and surprise myself every time I increase my distance. 💪🏼
Those of you who know me, know I love my FLAT Bournemouth prom runs. But today I went ‘trail’ running and pianoteacher you would have been proud of me. I did hills!!
Got a bit lost so ended up hiking for 2km and running 10KM. But so enjoyable. 😊 I’m on holiday in Tuscany for a week on Saturday so hope to do a couple of shorter runs then. Don’t want to forget how to run!! 😳
Anyway I’ll sign off before I bore you all too much! 😂 Happy running everyone. xx

What a stunning view! Glad you're still around and running. I'm with Jay on the hills in Tuscany. Don't think it's notoriously flat. You could just take it easy and have a week off of course! 🤗
Before in a past life I did a riding holiday in Tuscany, wasn't posh! The horses did the hills, bless them! Have a great holiday. PS I don't like hills either 🙂🌻
Hello ewe! Long time no hear! And lovely to hear about your progress. 12km, eh? Now that's not to be sniffed at. That has spurred me on! How have you been managing in the heat? I have done 2 10ks since graduating, but too hot for me to even think about running further. Hope you have a lovely holiday. xxx
Hi!! I go out early 5.30-6am to avoid the heat. I’ve done at least one 10K+ run a week since graduating. I’ve managed 6! Slowly followed the 10% rule and increased by that weekly. I’m sticking around that mark for now - don’t want to push it too soon. Xx
6 x 10km = fab! You are going great guns. 👏👏👏 I get out for 6am too, but London has just been so humid, it is already 21-22 degrees at that early hour! But I am going to do my 3rd 10km this weekend by hook or by crook! xx
Really humid in Bournemouth too but try to beat the sunrise!! Looking forward to some cooler mornings. Good luck with your weekend 10K. Btw not as quick as you at them!! Xx
Have a lovely holibobs! I’m just back from a complete week off running ( lots of walking though, definitely did my daily 10k steps) and can recommend it! Didn’t seem to impact anything 🏃🏼♀️😀
Great to hear from you Rip. You are a running machine. Hope you have a lovely holiday and that it's not too hot. Course you're used to that. The upside of running hills is that there's a down side
Good thanks! Getting in lots of running but Daniel won't go cross country - no idea why?!? My boyfriend just started exercising again this morning after a long break (he has lots of health problems so it can be very difficult for him). He says he's going to get his fitness up then try a parkrun with us in a few weeks. Running is contagious 😀
Great to see your Strava updates with Daniel. At least you may have a cross country friend with you boyfriend.😊 Hopefully!
So jealous of your lovely trail run, and of your upcoming trip! Don't pack your kit, relax and enjoy the food and wine, it's truly a foodie's paradise.
Have a great time and I look forward to hearing all about it 😘😘😘
That looks a great place to run for a change Ripcurl and I’m amazed at your distances now. I think you’re a natural born runner and will have no problem reaching marathon. My bridge doesn’t stretch as far as the next forum but I’ll see you on our virtual Parkrun.
In the meantime have a wonderful holiday in Tuscany 🍷☀️🏃♀️
Ooh lucky you Alka - I love Italy 🇮🇹. I would just go and relax for the week rather than attempt more hills 😂- I hate them! I love reading your posts and seeing your Strava updates - you are inspirational and I think, once I come back from holiday, I may start the 10K plan.
Have a fantastic holiday whether you run or not! 🍷 🇮🇹 🍝
