5K FINALLY

So finally after graduating in june me and sis ran 5.4k in the rain . 45 mins so quite slow but happy as Larry and a bit soggy . Think cooler runner is for me and the 10k bridge is looking tempting. Never thought I would say that. Who knows . I even try a bit of butt clenching on the way round after reading a post yesterday . Next step few more 5k,s then park run here I come.

Well done Tinker!! That first 5k is a milestone, so big congrats. I would bet money on it that you will jump on the 10K bridge and achieve it. Well one on the butt clenching too..lol..

Parkrun is calling your name, and you’ll love it. I tried the butt clenching too and found it a bit difficult to sustain, but I did find the piston arms worked well. Happy running

Thanks dexy. Arms were going, the butt clenching was a bit random when I remembered to try it. Park run is defiantly next.

Well done you (and sis!). I’m still not quite there yet on the 5k mark but getting closer. I’ve already registered for parkrun but holding off till I know I can run the whole thing but well done and congrats to you though 👏👏👏

I definitely prefer the cooler (and cold) running. Part of the fun this game is facing all the things that the climate throws at you. Mind you nothing compared to some of our international buddies....Well done
