So, in the good company of couchpotato2, I ventured out on a lovely, if bracing, morning. We went to our local national trust woods, for the first time in a long while. CP2 was sporting her natty new sun visor. (I wasn't brave enough to wear my eye-searingly bright new visor myself ). So, with CP2 plugged into yet another running app, we set off, hoping to run for 35 minutes. This was a recovery run for CP2, and I was just hoping to last the distance. Well, good news folks, I did it! Well, ok, I walked a little bit, and stopped to retie my laces, and cut off a corner, cunningly avoiding running down and up a slope to catch up with CP2, but I ran for 35 minutes, covering 4.5k. My Garmin gave us 4.5, while CP's app said 4.3. We have opted for the Garmin stats π But, without CP, I'm not sure that I would have kept going, it was so nice to have someone there to keep me going ππ The granola bar and cup of tea at the end also helped no end!

Brilliant GOG, sounds like a lovely run for the both of you - and post-run refreshments are always welcome! π

It's great to have a running buddy. You can still go at your own pace but nice to have someone to natter to over coffee afterwards.
