I skipped my long run on Friday. I wanted to give myself a few days of R&R after continuous headaches.
So for those days, I took electrolytes and drank plenty of water. Stayed hydrated and relaxed.
Today, started my first short run of 5km. Set my watch to 5km so it could remind me and when it was done I slowed to a comfortable jog for a few minutes, brisk walk for 5mins and slow walk for 5mins. Then got off the t’mill and worked on core and legs and press-ups. It was fine.
No headaches!!! Yeah!!!
Kept drinking water and had another electrolyte tablet and magnesium.
Still no headache - yeah!!!!
So provided my water intake remains high and I have no headaches I’ll be back on t’mill on Wed for another 5km and see how I am for longer run on Friday.
So far so good!
Phew!
