8k one-way run!

I decided that a one-way run would be more fun than my usual out and back, so set off at 6.30 this morning with purpose. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet and just keeping going, with Coach B in my ear. No music today as the birds and nearby babbling brook were lovely (when Coach B was quiet), and quite sufficient on their own. Arrived at my destination with 10 mins before the bus back, then a mile or so to walk home. A blissful 8k πŸ™‚ with no niggles.

What a great idea 😁 I usually plan a circle route

I have a handy and enjoyable cycle path but it would be a main road return if I tried to do a circle, so this was a pleasant variation. πŸ™‚

I've recently moved and have track one way and beach coming back, 5k but will look at longer routes

I absolutely love a one way run! There’s something really special about leaving somewhere behind and ending up somewhere else!! I did my long run on Saturday ending up at the chippy in the next village and grabbing a lift home with MrU.

Sounds like you had a really special run. Long may niggle free running continue!

Sounds a great idea, also like the idea of no music sometimes I’m so caught up in my podcast I’m not thinking about the run . May try a run without music/podcast ….

That sounded amazing with the bird song and water running along with you. I love your idea to get a bus back rather than do an out and back run - I must try that some time.

Most of the buses near me are still on max Β£2 fare (if you don't have a pass) so it could open up other opportunities πŸ™‚
