Loved the parkrun last week so much I decided to do it again! It was really windy and the big long uphill stretch was straight into the wind! That was hard work. Being overtaken by the 45minute pacer was a little demoralising but we got her back and finished in around 42 mins. A little slower than last week but the wind........ and actually now I feel like maybe I didn’t push myself quite as hard as I did last week.
Now time to rest and enjoy the weekend (rearranging son’s bedroom and redecorating the front room!)

Well done! Windy wasn’t it?! I had a quick look around and couldn’t see you, but a friend was there walking on her own so I walked a lap and she decided to finish and then ran on a bit and met Alan on his own (the ‘over 75yr pacer’) and trotted to the finish with him 🤗 My legs were absolutely lead today from the minute I left the house!
Well done for doing parkrun with wind and a hill to contend with . I’m sure I was going backwards with that wind against me. I guess it must be good training. 💨🏃♀️
