So, after struggling last week, I was all set for this morning. Got up early, full of enthusiasm with plenty of time to spare. Then my family started to get up so I never left when I planned to (I wonder if that's why the Parkruns are male dominated). When I did arrive, my bladder decided it was not going to run 5km the way it was so I literally turned up with 30 secs to spare. Anyway, I listened to the wise ones from last week and decided to take it easy at my comfortable pace and ignored the fact I was overtaken by a 4 year old. I ran for 30 mins, then took a very brief break walking (up the hill and against the wind, so I think it was allowed) and finished in 39 mins. Not my PB, but I feel at my best. I enjoyed the run, felt like I could have carried on a bit further and feel energised for the day ahead . Thank you and have a great weekend ππββοΈπββοΈ

Well done zebadee1, a bit of walking is definitely allowed. In fact you can walk it all if you want. πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπ©πΆπ»ββοΈππΆββοΈπΆπ»ββοΈπΆββοΈ
