Awesome run

Had one of those 'loving every moment' runs last night on the good old Olympic Park and covered 8k in the process. Next week i am gonna push for the 10k...i think it's time i have been tinkering on 8k since November and i must be ready for it.

Funny that i was always a morning person for running, but i really struggle to get up when it is so dark, so switching to the evening runs where i can has actually been quite refreshing, and as the park is so beautifully lit it really helps.

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend of running!

Wow, how fabulous to run at the Olympic Park. It must give you a special aura! Well done on your 8k, and good luck with your 10k attempt - which of course you will smash! πŸ‘πŸ‘ŠπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Yep, changing things around can give our running a boost. If you can do 8k then 10k is well within reach. Just take it steady, running nice and steady will get you there

Have fun πŸ‘πŸ’ͺπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Hi Tinker yes absolutely. The park is totally free. The best lit areas are the South Park and you can run around the Stadium, Orbit and Aquatics - North where the Velodrome is is slightly darker due to the nature conservation but a lovely space to run

It must be lovely to run in the Olympic Park- that is just the legacy they promised when the games were over. Enjoy your 10k attempt next week.
