First run for 2 weeks so determined to get out today. Set off a bit late, around 10am. Weather dry, overcast, no wind and chilly. Walked down to the park and then to start of the old train line where we started running. Squiggy runs off the lead on this trail, he loves chasing squirrels πΏ and runs VERY fast! We did a loop today, running back down the lanes and a very muddy track (see photo). Finally Squiggy went off the lead again as we rejoined the old train line. A satisfying steady 8k.
Muddy doggie! πΆπΎπΎ: First run for 2 weeks so... - Bridge to 10K
Muddy doggie! πΆπΎπΎ
Sounds like a great run, sometimes all the better for getting muddy π
Might have to rename Squiggy to Squelchy! πΎπβΊοΈ
Whatβs not to love about a muddy doggie!
Great run in all that mud ....Itβs soooo muddy around here too skysue, I must invest in some trail shoes π€
What a lovely 8k, well day, dont you just love those muddy tracks when you can ignore being an adult and embrace your inner child. Happy running π€
One of our original Old English, a 55k giant, loved to run through muddy ditches; so the lower half came out brown and the top half was still snowy white and grey. Cappuccino dog! π
Oooh, slippy mud makes running tricky Sue, once your wet and muddy though might as well embrace it!
Good to hear you enjoyed your nice long run!πββοΈππΎπΎπΎxxx
Well done πππ running in mud is so hard, you must've needed extra energy to complete your 8k! I bet Squiggy had the best time! Not sure the squirrels did though ππ
Sounds like a lovely run. The footpaths are really bad at the moment aren't they and the ones that go down the sides of fields are dug up by the tractor wheels. But its still worth getting out there, muddy feet and all.
Aww, I wish my dog would go on a run, I take her out and then 5 mins later she sits down and refuses to move unless itβs to head back home. Trouble is sheβs a Great Dane so thereβs no budging her!
