I'm not able to run tomorrow as I'll be travelling, so I ran today. It was hillier but I was still slower than I would normally expect. I think this is a good thing as I don't normally run on consecutive days. I used the same C25K+ podcast which plays music where you run to the beat, and speeds you up gradually. I love this podcast, but maybe it's time to try a new one next time...
Despite the hill it worked again and each split is faster than the last one.🙃 I'm happy that I'm on track and running 3 times a week. Not sure I'll be able to keep this up when I get back to winter though...

Apart from the odd gale, freezing temperatures on a handful of days and torrential rain occasionally it has been pretty mild so far. This is my first running winter so I haven’t experienced snow or sub zero temperatures yet, so maybe I have a rosy view! Great run by the way😊👏🥇🥇
I managed to fall over just crossing the car park last winter (black ice) and smash my wrist up badly so I'm not very braved about running in winter conditions. I hope it's mild when I get back!
Tricky stuff black ice! I ended up with a spinal fracture after doing a Fosbury flop in the car park on black ice at the end of November last year. But that is what started me running as soon as I recovered....sitting around getting old seemed to be the only alternative!! Hopefully we will avoid a deep freeze😊🥶
Ouch! Fully heeled now? Did they DEXA scan you? Calcium and Vit D pills and weight bearing/high impact exercise is my drill. I may add magnesium to that list.
Yes it is as good as new thanks. They did do a bone density scan (because I hadn't fallen from a height) but the results were fine. The fall was more like an ill timed back flip landing on my back at about shoulder blade height (T4). Still, ill wind eh? I can run now and I know I don't have osteoporosis!!😊
