Happily completed 5k today, my first run in almost two weeks, after my second cold virus of the month. Glad I made it to 10k in October while the weather was still mild. Quite windy and my legs were a bit tired at the end but it felt good to be running again and did some post run strength exercises afterwards. Think I am just going to try and keep up with 2-3 runs per week over December at 5k and build back up to 10k again starting from January... Or February.... See how it goes!

Two colds in a month, that's really bad luck. And it's amazing how They take it out of you. A good plan I think to take it a bit more gently over winter (I might do the same!!)

It is hard to run in the wind EL82. I do parkrun on the promenade and the direction of the wind makes such a difference. A good idea to not be too ambitious in December - it is such a difficult month with all the festivities.
