Wireless earphones

I’m getting a new pair of wireless earphones for Christmas and I’m not sure which ones to get. I want them for running and I want them loud enough to hear music , beat and instructions.

Should I get beats, b and o or Bose?

Any recommendations welcome please

For running I’d recommend sticking with a cheap pair - I’ve dropped mine several times and on long runs they can get soaked with sweat. I wouldn’t want to ruin good headphones this way.

I struggle to keep earbuds in (but Apple Airpods work fine weirdly) so I bought some of these, and would happily recommend them:

I have these too, they are good. Used 6 x a week between me and hubby... he will be getting a pair for Christmas!

I LOVE my Apple EarPods for running. Great sound, long charge life and miraculously never fall out. Bit spendy though, but worth the money in my opinion. x

Hi Scobs i don't have an iPhone anymore so went for an Amazon bargain with good reviews ~ £8.99!! JETech is an unknown make to me but I used them this morning for the first time and they're fab! Loud, good sound quality, didn't cut out ~ couldn't fault them! I couldn't really justify spending a fortune on earphones so now I can spend a fortune on a pair of Fly boots I've had my eye on for ages!!🤗

Hi. I just have a Bluetooth set from B&M bargains, working great at the moment, and do the job for me. However I have been reading about bone headphones that don't block out all sound

I got fed up of cheap ones dying without warning so when I got an offer with my Garmin watch of Skullcandy Method wireless rrp 50 at half price I thought, why not? So far so good 8 months in. Great volume and good sound. I'm still not sure about the neck band but it rarely bothers me.

I got my son the Apple ones for his birthday and I have to say they are pretty good.....

But I’m afraid they will fall out when I’m running

I wear a head scarf, head band, hat (according to weather) to keep mine in.....works a treat :)

After leaving my Beatz on a plane (😫😫😫😫😫J, I bought a pair of Soundcore Spirits. Very comfy, stay in my ears and easy as pie to operate (essential for me!)

Just another option to add to the mix! 😀

I agree with Jay66UK. I got these and they are really good and fairly cheap LinkWitz Wireless Bluetooth... amazon.co.uk/dp/B073VF7FY7?....

I've also found these great as in-ear ones tend to fall out for me. Just one note of caution - the instructions say they're not waterproof so I don't know how they would stand up to heavy rain. Luckily I've managed to avoid that so far!

Bone conduction 👍 best thing ever for running. I don't personally like to run with any kind of ear bud as I don't think it's very safe but before I got my Trekz I used cheap Taotronics wireless ones from amazon and they were pretty good, if you're happy to go with in ear type music.

I’ve got the Trekz bone conduction headphones and they are great. You don’t know you are wearing them and you can hear traffic etc. Would recommend people try them. Quite pricey though.

I’m on my 3rd set of cheap wireless earbuds now, after 1 pair died for no reason, then the next different pair died on getting soaked in heavy rain.

I had refunds from Sportpursuit for the 2 dead pairs though, and replaced them with a new pair which are still working for now - these Pioneer ones...

As these are the same as the pair that died on getting really soaked, my tactics now are to carry a ziplock bag to put them in if I’m running in a deluge again! I’ve also put clear waterproof tape over the on/off control button section (which was where the water got in), and as I only wear one ear bud in (my answer to being able to safely hear cars and bikes etc around me) I have the section with these buttons on shoved down my top to protect it better!

On a similar topic what are you folks using to carry your phone and hence your music please?

I use a bum bag/ fanny pack which does up in back and sits on waist.

I just strap it to my hand.

Have a look at the Flipbelt

Very neat

Flipbelt in warm weather, and I have a running hoodie that has a zip pocket, with a media outlet in, that is big enough to fit my phone in when it's cooler/cold.
