I wonder if any of you lovely folk can help? I have been running with my in-ear Bose headphones plugged into my iPhone for the last couple of years. Yesterday the adapter snapped 🙁 do I just replace the adapter or should I go for wireless earphones? I do find the wires get in the way sometimes but I haven’t got a clue where to start when it comes to wireless. Any help/recommendations would be much appreciated!
Best wishes,

Try running without the sounds 👍 it's liberating
I have aftershocks bone conductor ear phones and would give them a 5 star review
I've been using Mpow Bluetooth earphones for well over a year. They are a good fit, and also sweatproof. Pretty cheap from Amazon. They also do earbuds, I'm probably going to buy them next. 👍
I use Bluetooth Headphones TaoTronics [2019 SOUNDELITE 71] Magnetic Earbuds with 20 Hrs Playtime aptX HD Audio Codec Bluetooth 5.0 CVC 8.0 Noise Cancellation bought from Amazon for £16.99. Brilliant sound lasting weeks on one charge. They are connected so if they fall out you don't lose them. Magnetic so stay safe when round your neck 😊
I've got the Aftershock Aeropex and I could not recommend them highly enough. They're brilliant. I can hear cars and people over the music as they don't sit in your or over your ear.
That said my Sony over the ear noise cancellation headphones are light years ahead in music quality. But you can't run in them as they're too big and bulky. The Aftershock are so comfy I forget they're on.
Easy to use on the move too. I can pair them with two devices at the same time, my Garmin Viaactive Music watch and my phone or laptop. I use them for conference calls at home too, voice comes across really well and I make loads of them.
I've read that some of the previous versions did that. Not sure if my head is overly large or not 😀 but the Aeropex fit perfectly. However perhaps an option if small v large or an adjustable version would be useful.
Get some bone conducting ones, you can hear traffic and actually hear what people say as you encounter them, rather than grinning inanely hoping they said something positive. I got a reasonably cheap ones as I am sure I will break them.
I run with a pair of Bose QC30 bluetooth earphones which I bought off eBay for £140 (new and unused but not in retail packaging). I love the active noise cancellation, and being able to change the volume whilst I'm running via a physical control on them. They have a collar which sits around my neck, which is a controversial feature, but I've found it to be not too uncomfortable.
Before the QC30s I used a pair of Bose QC20s which I destroyed one day, accidentally pulling the wires out of the unit!
I use Jabra Sport and they are great and good value. They do have a wire linking both ear plugs and an over the ear holder. I tried completely wire buds and found they didn’t stay in and this led to poor sound quality and risk of losing them. Also mine were less than half the price of Apple buds.
I am getting some Aftershokz Aeropex for my birthday in 2 weeks time - no more wires to get caught on gates and bushes and I'll be able to listen with both ears rather than leaving one out to hear what is going on around me.
I got cheaper tayogo bone conduction headphones wireless on Amazon £30 they work well and as I like them might trade up to aftershokz next time!I didn't want to spend £100+ straight off
