Hi. Does anyone have any recommendations for wireless headphones? I'm looking for something that fits comfortably in my ears without blocking out environmental sounds around me, and that I can use when wearing glasses; sound quality is important but not my number one priority. Any comments gratefully received. Thanks

Wireless headphones
Heyicandothis I'm on that bus alongside you being a glasses wearer, I wanted wireless earbuds, wires are messy I probably get tangled etc, I simply went online cheap cheerful bluetooth buds that charge in the case, you can use the pair or just one as you prefer. I did use a running head band / buff to ensure that they stayed put 👍 my advice unless you really need to spend loads go cheap... I moved totally away from music and tunes now and prefer to run naked 🙊🙈
Thanks Imc50 😀
I am also a glasses wearer and have had earbuds but I found when I sweated these fell out. I now use Aftershox which fit round the back of my head and over my glasses. The sound quality is excellent, they are comfortable and I can still hear outside noises.
A second vote for the Aftershokz from me. I have the Aeropex model.
Not hugely loud if you're surrounded by traffic, but a comfortable volume at other times.
Ditto. Mr WW and I just got the Aeropex a couple of weeks ago. He has both glasses and a behind ear hearing aid to contend with and they work well for him. I love being able to hear the birds singing, cyclists yelling that are passing, or ringing their bell, and cars.
Thanks. do you have any experience of the Aftershokx tredz also?
Sorry. No. We did the research and decided the Aeropex had the features we were looking for.
Okay, thanks. The Aeropex do look good ... but rather pricey!
Yup. Not cheap. But Mr WW sweats profusely when he works out, so he needed a set that would cope with that. We just compared features and reviews. My first pair turned themselves off spontaneously a few times. A known issue and Aftershokz just says to return them. I bought from Amazon so that was easy. New pair has been on several runs and has worked perfectly. Mr WWs pair have worked flawlessly.
Just looked these up and I see there is 20% off today on their site aftershokz.co.uk/products/a... not sure if these are now a good price or not?
Hi, if you go to qvcuk.com they have them on 3 x easy pays and 4 colours to choose from. You get 60 days to try and if not suitable you can return. Hope this helps. Susie
Aftershokz. The only ones approved by uk athletics. Sometimes they’re the only type allowed in races. I have titanium trekz mini.
I have aftershokz titanium mini which are good for females and juveniles as they are a bit smaller. Bone conduction is better than in ear because you can still hear what’s going on around you. I wear mine with sunglasses. You can make calls or answer the phone while running too!
I have Aftershokz (Aeropex), they’re brilliant - I can hear both music & spoken word clearly. I wear glasses too - I put on headphones first & then glasses. I wear them not only for running, but also when I am gardening & countless other occasions. 😄
Aftershokz Aerpex, brilliant headphones. Just put them on and forget about them. I don't wear my glasses for running, but I do wear them in the garden with my headphones on, no problem at all.Aftershokz have a great BOGOF offer on this week. 👍
Tried Anker Soundbuds £30 but sounded tinny. Then Sony WBX100 buds £50 but they didn't stay in, good sound tho. Have now paid the dollars for beats powerbeats £130 which have hooks so can't fall out and the sound is far better than Sony. My advice is to spend the cash and avoid having to upgrade cheaper, inferior phones.
I use skullcandy sesh evo true wireless ear buds and they're great. I'm a glasses wearer too.
I use a pair of headphones that go around the top of the ear as I fond EarPods fall out. Mine have a cord joining in them that sits around my neck but you can get some without the cord
More of the same from me - I have Aftershockz (the base model) I also wear glasses and I find that they help stop my glasses moving also. Win win. Would definitely recommend them
I too recommend Aftershokzs, as well as being a glasses wearer I am also a hearing aid user, which I don't wear when running. I needed something comfortable, but with good sound quality, as with ear buds I can hear music but speech not so much.I've found Aftershokzs to be comfortable with glasses, great sound quality but still able to hear traffic.
I have Letscom earphones , bought on Amazon 12 months ago , and I love them . They come in a neat little case , are easy to use and with good sound quality. I too wear glasses but I must admit I use contact lenses when running.
I recently invested in some Mifo ones and they are awesome, sound great, they don't budge once in and are waterproof so excellent for running 😀 Check out the reviews they really are fantastic.
I've been using these Anker headphones (cables goes around the back of the neck to save you clicking on the link in case you aren't interested ) and have found them pretty good. £25 for the 'slim+' option which is mainly for the volume control to be slimmer and there are cheaper ones out there.
