BOOM Magic 10 - 1st bit

Ok I did 2.5 (well 3k) and tacked on 4 of the 30:20:10’s. I’ve never done any interval training before. Liked it! Oh and I sort of tried a plank.

Out for a 5k this morning. My question is should I do the interval training on days when I don’t do the longer runs? What do you do fellow Magic 10k runners?

well done you.... ( and thankyou) personally I would do the intervals with a day either side of rest. It may be a short run but if done fully will really tire you ( which is good). Well done on the plank too :)

Thanks juju, I came to that conclusion myself re intervals as I struggled at the end of my 5k this morning and thought walking home would be manageable but certainly no more running...

....and a bit of plank this evening!

Good job dcmusic, I ran the 2.5K with a 30-20-10 app last night and thoroughly enjoyed it too! Absolutely loved the sprinting...😀 🙌

I'm having a recovery day after each run, where I do some strength exercises in the morning. 👍

Hi Thundersloth i’ve now done the 3 runs, did 5.5 this morning. Will do more 30:20:10 on Friday. Yes I loved the sprint bit too!

Did a bit of Plank last night and will do some Plank tomorrow so like you splitting it all up.

Probably most people doing this mix...
