Well I’ve been away in USA for a whole month in a road trip (over 5000 miles in total). I took my running stuff but it never happened and even the hikes I thought we’d do never came off (heat, altitude but mainly unfit companion). Oh and we are out for a whole month (have you seen the portion sizes over there?!) and they seem to put cheese on EVERYTHING! We had a fantastic time and despite all the above my clothes still seem to fit!! Anyway, back to reality. Kit on today and back on the old track where they’ve suddenly put up obstacles in my absence (not a big deal, just added a little wiggle). I just went out to have fun so walked a bit if I felt like it but did just over 4K in just over half an hour. It’s fun if you stop worrying about time and distance. I’ve told the kids and I’m telling you - I’m back to running 3 times a week. There. I’ve said it - just like when I started - so I have to do it. I’m back 🏃🏼♀️ 😊
