I did 5k round and round and round the Forest Fields park in Nottingham on Sat. Missed Park Run as it was a grey morning and I didn’t think I was going to run. Learnt how to do ‘the cup song’ (the actions not the words), then woke my friend up and went for a run while she got up and ready. My upper leg muscles felt a bit tight half way through the run but I stretched them out after and they’re fine again now.

My next run is either 4km or 8km...

I really am solar powered and was hoping for a sunny period to run in but the forecast is rain for days...

Trying to think of an imaginative run for the 8k so it’s interesting. I think I’d like to do a run in one direction rather than a there and back. I’ll have to see if I can organise a support vehicle to come and get me from wherever I get to.

Nice run Baddie! I was discussing long-run vehicle strategies with my buddy last night too 🤣 If they’d kindly close the road too we’d be sorted 😁👍

Canal towpaths can be great if you've got a canal locally. Just watch out for the fishing rods. And cyclists.

Very useful to have a support vehicle! Mine also has a good up bike in the back now so he can follow!! 😁

Looks like a nice run - I did a there and back for my 8k this week but think for my second one I will try a circular route instead. It’s a bit more interesting! Glad your leg muscles sorted themselves out also ❤️😊🏃🏃

Leg muscles were good enough to go again this morning and I did my first 8km!!! Lumpy ankle is also less lumpy than it was. Happy, happy, happy!
