Thanks for the plan ... I am trying the bridge to 10k... just done the week 2 6k run ... when I stopped thinking about going faster and just enjoyed the trees and birds in the woods it was great and I kept a steady pace without stopping .. (first run in the rain which I can’t say I really liked though )
Can anyone suggest a light and cool waterproof ?
I am not doing the exercise after most runs though as I go to an hiit class and aerobics so I don’t want to overdo it ! I did do some planks today though to warm up when I got in !
Hope I can still graduate once I’ve done the runs !

Wow , planks , AFter a run , that is hard core! I think the general idea is to stretch after a run and do strengthening on days off. Cracking pace for 6k.The plan is brilliant . Happy days. Sorry I can't help with the waterproof ideas.
Sounds great well done, and yes of course, the strength exercises are suggestions and it sounds like you have that sussed with your classes which is superb. I buy alot of my running gear from Ebay as its cheaper. The brands I personally like for waterproofs are Gore, Howies and salamon. Bike ones are good as they also cover your bum which keeps it warm in Winter!!!
I know exactly how you feel about the longer runs. I got my waterproof from Sportpursuit (a bit hit and miss on sizes but cheap - I think they must do end of lines and unsold previous season). Rest of my stuff from Decathlon and Sports Direct. I like a bargain if it does the job 😃
