Finished week 1 of Ju-jus plan with the shorter 2.5k run. As this felt a little like cheating being a short run I decided to give some intervals a go. Looking at all the different types of intervals I just got more and more befuddled! So, I saw someone post about using the C25K week 1 activity but instead of walking run and up the pace on the running bits. Was a lot more tiring than I thought it would be! At least I didn't feel like I had cheated now!

Or have a go at one of the C25K+ podcasts. Start with Stepping Stones (to improve your cadence) or Speed (which is intervals). They're great tools for the shorter runs. The short runs are an opportunity to do some different types of training in addition to the "slow and steady" long runs. It's nice to mix things up and you're strengthening your legs at the same time
