Managed to fit my longer run in tonight, took it really slowly and did the 5.5km in between laundry and picking my daughter up from judo.

I feel a bit more confident now about making my 10k in September.

On to week two on Sunday!

Fantastic! Sometimes those runs we’ve got to squeeze in between life feel extra sweet to tick off. You’re really doing well on this plan. That 10k is going to be well within your capabilities by September.

Is it an event you’re entering or is that a goal you’ve just set your sights upon?

Very well done you!!! This running is tricky sometimes, trying to fit it into our very busy lives.. That run in Paris is going to be so much fun!

Thanks OldFloss, I did the run 3 (I think - the last one before the pandemic anyway) years ago and it is a nice run, it's a women only event and most people are there just to have fun.

That looks amazing!!! Oh wow!!! . I was hoping maybe to do an All women event later in the year, but am making very slow progress getting back to 10K... ! I have got a Spitfire Run first week in September, but it is 5K....

5K is still huge, you've had a few challenges this year! This one in September has a 7k option if a trip to Paris inspires you! :D

Well done backintime As you know, this is a brilliant plan to get you safely to 10k

Thanks Dexy, I know it works, I should, all being well, be at 10k by mid August and that leaves me 3 weeks to consolidate it before my event
