Today, on my plan, was a 3k run, which felt great. The excuse to run only 3k! I love a good plan!

Ran to one of my go-to playlists, one of which I made up of songs of my kind of recovery speed / beat / leg turnover and it really helped to keep me steady and low HRZ..

For those slower runners of you who could use a playlist like this, feel free to head to open.spotify.com/playlist/4...

The sun was out, the music was great and on the run, I pondered about the different personalities of each of my legs! Yes, you heard right! Each one has its specific traits.

Left leg:

- this is the one where I have pulled a calf muscle maybe 2-3 times in the last 5 years, so I really am conscious of adding calf strengthening and flexibility

- but this leg is also more flexible

- but this is the side where my glutes get tight

right leg:

- this is the side where I hurt my ankle ca 25 years ago and ever since then it has been stiffer, less flexible. But I am working on that.

- never had a calf strain on this side

- my glutes never feel tight

strange isn’t it. I’m sure there are some connections between these things, but to me, they rather seem like I’m running with two personality-legs!

🀣

happy running, everyone!

Like about your legs , never thought about that till you mentioned it. Hope you stay away from any injuries.

3km is one of my favourite run distances for an everyday pop out and back run. It sounds like you had fun! They plan seems to be going well so far. Enjoy!

Yeah. The plan is ok, but it’s app-functionality not quite as flexible as the audio-guided runs . E.g. I haven’t quite figured out how I can move a run to another day, and this meant one of my runs in the plan does not feature a tick behind it. And I cannot seem to delete either. Hm. 🧐🀨

Oh that’s a nuisance. Hopefully there’s a workaround to get you the tick!

Never thought of it that way, but I'm definitely tighter on my stronger, right side. Just like I'm definitely weaker in my (rotator damaged) left shoulder/arm. So I guess I think about all that when I'm exercising ...
