Long recovery run

Well, because my Osteo told me earlier in the week I should go easy on the running for a bit, I felt I needed to make up for it today with a slightly longer run. Being at around 6.5k on my 'take' of the Ju-Ju 10k plan, I thought this would be about 7.5k tops, but somehow I stretched it to 9.1k... and my back is feeling better for it too. For the first time I'm not reaching for the voltoral / nurofen plus solution that I've been using all week. I'm relieved that a bit of the good old ice pack treatment on the sore part of the back seems to be working, and I'm hoping I'm now back on track to do the 10k plan. :)

Nice going Dave, glad to hear you're getting back to fitness. Not far to go until 10k now! Good luck!
