I’m not going to lie, that 10k race took it out of me 😂 it’s to be expected though I guess, I hadn’t run for two weeks before that, and I pushed myself more than I planned to.
So it’s been a few days as my legs have ached and I’ve just been stretching and eating everything in sight. Yesterday I went for a 10 mile bike ride which was great, and I decided this morning that I would do a recovery run.
Apart from it being pretty warm, the run went well. I went a bit faster than I intended and had a few more hills than I planned, but other than that it was ok. The last half a mile I definitely felt ready to stop though!
I plan on doing another ride today but will see how my legs feel in a bit.
And then once I’ve done enough exercise I’m going to get on the beers and settling in for a very stressful evening of football 😬🏴⚽️

What a lovely recovery run and sounds like you’ve recovered well from the race, I love the thought of eating everything in sight . Oh goodness, football, we don’t watch football but will be watching this one 😀 and stressful it will be, better crack open the beers
Ours neither, we were away all week and ate out loads it was great 😂 but not good for the waistlines, mind you run this morning and a blitz on the housework might help
