Well I managed to arrange a day off today, I am away over the weekend in Stockport and Manchester off to my first live music gig since before the pandemic and I have a few things to sort out before I go .
As a few here will know, I am a life long Pink Floyd fan and have been lucky enough to see them live many times over the years .
Well , Saturday night is a tribute band at the Manchester Apollo, and they are almost as good as the real thing π
Anyway, I digress π
The forecast for today here was dry bright but chilly ! , Perfect for getting back out there !
My Sinus headaches have been easing over the last few days so I thought i would try a short run .
Running tights and a long sleeved top were in order for today and I was out of the door around 10:25.
My tech behaved today as well so that was a good start !
It was my usual route but for some reason I set off quicker than I usually do , not intentional, it just happened.
It wasen't THAT quick , just quicker than I like to start so slowed down a bit as soon as I noticed .
Luckily I was feeling ok , my head was clear from recent headaches, and infact the running was helping !
It was a lovely day for the run and I was soon up to temperature and feeling good .
I wasen't really sure how far to run but 3.5K brings me to within 5 minutes walk from the house so thats where i decided to stop .
So, nothing special, just a steady trot to get out there again as I won't now get another chance until next week !
And thanks to starting off too quick , the splits were positive π€£
Happy Running ! π
