Monday, finished Wk6 of Ju-ju's 10k plan with a 9k run.
Tuesday, Yoga.
Wednesday, started Wk7 with a 4k run.
... and today, went swimming!
Feeling really pleased with myself. I swam competitively as a youngster and was a qualified swimming teacher after that but I haven't swum properly for years. Playing around in the warm Caribbean Sea in a bikini really doesn't count as swimming! So I've bought myself a 'proper ' swimming costume and intend to swim as a rest day activity going forward.
So pleased I eventually got back to it, my body still feels the same in the water as it did when I was young.
And now I'm watching the French Open tennis, although I'm not sure that counts as a rest day activity!!

Swimming in the warm sea. Bliss or what. Any sea I’ve swum in lately has been ruddy Baltic 😬😃. Good idea on the cozzie! Get back into swimming 👍Before you know it, you”ll be doing tri’s and triathlons. My neice is a swimming instructor. She does swimming events. Some good fun to be had on your non-run days

Swimming makes for a jolly good cross training regime though 💪👍
I am off on hols next week and have treated myself to a pair of trendy new board shorts and a Roxy tri bikini top. Never been near a board in me life 😎😁 Living the dream 👍
