I’ve been working overseas for four days then back to a hectic weekend, so today was my first run for 8-9 days. It’s been such a sunny, beautiful day so I set out with a feeling of spring and a spring in my steps too 😁.
As I passed by lots of walkers quite a few made really encouraging comments, which I am always grateful for! I did just over two miles so am pleased with that. It’ll help me to prepare for the park run on Saturday 🏃♀️

Good two miles run for you Oldlady64, well done, isn't it really nice to be encouraged by people you see while you are running, I have had many "well dones" while running in my local park including a "you're doing well" in the same park with 1 kilometre to go when I ran my only half marathon last November.
It really does make a difference when there’s lots of smiles and encouraging words! Yes, some of my runs are through the local park and many people give encouragement!
I lifted my head up when running, after the first positive encouragement, it was a real affirmation! I get quite a lot of " well done fella" now, which for me should normally have the pre-fix 'old'! Glad your getting a pattern of runs going.
