I believe this sums up my 8km run today... 'it's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life, for me, and I'm feeling good'. Without a doubt the gym work and swimming are helping with my runs, my legs feel strong, my heart rate is steady (97% of run in zone 3) and my breathing is happening without effort. I may be slow (7mins/km) but I am happy and I am loving the new me :)

This week is going to be finished with my 4km run on Thurs night and my 5km run on Saturday at Parkrun!

Happy running people :)

I REALLY enjoyed it. Being able to breathe steady and having confidence in my legs made a massive difference :)

Great effort there, fantastic HR I’m in zones 4 and 5 for that speed, mind you I’ve been in zone 5 pulling carpet shampoo round house today. Glad you are enjoying your runs

Thank you :) Are you sure you should be pulling carpets when you are unwell? You need to take care of yourself x

I know I know, always do to much. Viewings have started for the house so carpets need cleaned. Hopefully get 4k slow slow slow run tomorrow
