First ever running sunglasses!!😎

So fed up with sweaty nose and sunglasses falling off, and attempts with grippy strap round head just made me feel extra hot , I have purchased some fairly cheap running glasses from Naked Runner. Not prescription of course, so the far future will be blurry (often the best way!), and I do look a bit like an alien, 👽, but lenses are nice and dark. Arrived two days after ordering- impressed so far. I hope they’ll take off about 30s per km🤣🤣🤣, and reduce my crow’s feet. Whats not to love? Off for 9k trial run, swapping yesterday’s Uni open day leg tiredness to post run achiness instead. Happy running everyone 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

Wow!! Very sharp!! I ended up taking mine off partway round to let them unsteamup. But they don’t slip and I can open my eyes instead of squinting so they are good with me. Just plain black but I am happy with them although I’d love a pair with a coloured frame like yours.

What make are they? I went with Duduma - they have a lifetime warranty whether they break on their own or you drop them and step on them they’ll replace them. And as I’m quite clumsy I thought that suited me.

I’m not sure they’re any brand except Naked Runner 😆. Just basic sunglasses, only £35, so no guarantees or suchlike. But I can report that there was absolutely no slippage at all, (and I did get rather sweaty) and very comfortable. There’s even a gap at the bottom to let the sweat drip and run down your cheeks!🤣 No steaming up at all. (But you really do look like an alien!)

Ooh I thought mine were expensive at £16!!! I’m usually a grab 50p from Primark at the end of the season sort of gal, as I sit on them, drop then step on them, leave them on roof of the car and drive away...etc

I’ll take a look on that site though as I am enjoying the non slip if not the steaming up. And I’d like a spare pair

Mine are bright orange too and always clash with my crimson face after a hot run 😊😎 but who cares? We're runners 🤗

I was searching for a thread about new contemporary sunglasses but found only this one. Do you know guys the best sunglasses for running at the moment? I came here with a little update and to edit my reply, I found Oakley Men's OO9144 Half Jacket 2.0 Rectangular Sunglasses. Here are the characteristics: they are made in the US, Oakley's Plutonite Lenses offer top UV Protection filtering 100% of all UVA, UVB, UVC and harmful blue light up to 400mm, patented high definition optics (HDO) provides superior optical clarity and razor-sharp vision at every angle, 8.75 base lens curvature that improves side protection against sun, wind, and impact, durability and all-day comfort of lightweight, stress-resistant O Matter frame material and so on. Yeah, this is great, but I think I want something cheaper because these ones cost about $160. Maybe I can buy a pair of layoners.com qualitative polarized lens sunglasses which are under $100?
