Running hot (rather than running hottie?)

It was run day today, so what to do considering the announcement that today would be the hottest day of the year!? 🫣😳🫠🥵😅

Only one thing to do: get up really early in the morning and run before the heat rolls in!

Birds started chirping, a breeze, warm but not hot, a slight breeze. It felt great running in half leggings and vest. Getting up at 6 am was worth it!

(However, passing a field of cows meant a lot of flies about! Besides running faster, any tips for us slow-running wanna-be-hotties on how to avoid flies circling around you? 🐄🐂🐮🪰🪰🪰)

But great little run, ticking off another two audio-guided NRC runs in its 5k plan.

Afterwards, all stretched and showered, chilling out beside my snoozing husband 😴! The lazy $€@%!

But clearly just to spite me, soon after I wrote this, the lazy spiteful $€@%  brought me a coffee and a protein-almond milk-smoothie!

Now he thinks that I think the he is not  lazy at all, but a beloved lad!

🤣🤣🤣

 🥰😍🥰😍

Keep cool whilst running on, all you running hotties!

Impressive stuff-two runs in one and a 6am start! I’d take my hat off to you if I didn’t need it for sun protection!

🤣👩‍🌾 Yeah, definitely keep that hat! You’ll need it!

And those were two short runs: 12min recovery run for my warm up and a 15 min slow run. I kept it running to make up to the 42 min I need for my circular route. Perfect!

And thank you! 🥰💪🙏

I’m impressed well done. I was up at 6am but not out the door till 6.20 am. It’s good at that time of day to get up so peaceful . Watch the horseflies, got bit, not nice. Not any hotties going around that time of morning here but temperature was pleasant , drizzle and cloud. Sun trying to get out now. , or will be afternoon watching open golf at St Andrews . 😊☀️
