I missed yesterday morning as really needed the sleep so spur of the moment decided to run last night, first time ever in the evening. I asked my husband to stand by incase i needed a lift home as my route took me a fair way from home and stuck my sunglasses on as sun was bright and low. My planned road was closed to car scuppered my lift idea so took another route! Only went and ran 6.4km!!! The final road i ran before I could be safely picked up was so long and empty but lovely. Longest and furthest run and my pace while still glacial is up a wee bit. Bonus was sat out at home after in the dim and saw the 2 π¦ that have been visiting π the cat well miffed at sharing his food. I was glad I didnβt miss a day and got my run in. I thought i was cool anyway wending my way along in my sunglasses in the gloom at least I could see!

Nice run for you and the cat enjoyed his food.
I love running later in the day and quite enjoy my 'dark' runs in the winter months too! Well done on your run - it sounds great!
I am interested to see how the seasons change my runs.
Well done on getting out at that late hour. Iβm a morning runner and havenβt braved that yet! Iβve never run after eating. Good distance too.
Love a sunset evening run. Lovely.
Fantastic CaptFrey! Extra kudos for running in the evening (I only do mornings!) AND after eating a curry! I love curries but I couldnβt run 0.4k after one, let alone 6.4k. Well done! πππ
Great new long evening run for you, well done. How lovely to then watch the hedgehogs in the garden - great end to the week. Happy running π€
Well done CaptFrey itβs great when you get back and youβve enjoyed the run and realise the distance youβve covered...sets you up nicely for the next one...π
Well done you, youβre braver than me, as it can be unnerving running in the dark. My winter mornings are like that but I canβt run after eating (made that mistake once) so I have no choice π
