Another day where I chickened out of running due to snowy conditions, but I did see another runner run my route... very slowly and gingerly. But she was the only one. So my running conscience feels a bit better now not having run.
But I and hubby walked my usually gorgeous 5k route, now even dazzling in its fluffy whiteness. Families were out with sledges, and the crunchiness of the snow even invited me to slow jog in my walking boots for 5min here and there, the sound of crunching snow was so .... crunchy. No better word to describe it, although hubby suggested it sounded like something else every time I took a step.🤣🥾🌬🤣 🥾🌬🤣🥾🌬
Hope everyone out there can enjoy the beauty that is nature in winter!
Happy walking, running or working out everyone !

I feel like saying "snap" I had planned a 5/6k run for today but opened my curtains to the white stuff. No way am I running in it, although like you I saw one guy running on a pavement... Seemed a bit like an accident waiting to happen to me.Lovely photo, snow makes everything look magical doesn't it.
Although we live at 680m the snow has pretty much melted, so off I went to the forest. I can now confirm that there's still snow (and slush and ice and hard-packed slippery leaves...) at 840m, though fortunately not much!
Looks beautiful! No snow here which my son is sad about, but on the positive side that did allow me to get out for a nice long run with only mud to contend with.
