Hello lovely runners!
So - tomorrow morning, early, marks the official start of my quest to reach the illusive 10k mark. I'm delighted that my friend Sadie-runs is going to do the plan at the same time, it'll be just like old C25K days again
I'm doing the first 2.5k run before work tomorrow. As the last run I did was 6.5k, I'm going to be very careful not to get too giddy, set off like a rocket, and tire myself out after 100m. I am, however, going to use the C25k+ speed podcast, as I think it's probably about the right length for the run, and I really appreciate having the structure.
I shall report back of course, not that you probably need to hear another tale of "Ooh I just ran 2.5k, aren't I fantastic??!" but more because it's good to be accountable with these things, and I value your support, advice and encouragement. I've come from a place of never having run before C25k, this time last year I could not have run for 30 seconds probably, and being on the C25k forum has been amazing, hence why I'm here on bridge.
Take care everyone, happy running, and Sadie? I'm coming for you!!!!!
