NRC 10k plan - run 2

Until this week I never ran two days in a row, but this is the second time within 7 days!

The sun was out and the sky was blue when I woke up but the weather forecast says there's going to be yet more heavy rain later which will last until tomorrow morning. I felt good and the prospect of being outside in the sunshine was irresistible so off I went.

Run 2 is a short recovery run, the 555 Second Run with Coach B. Minor setback, I'd forgotten to dry my running kit yesterday but never mind, for a run of less than 10 minutes any old trackies would do..

The run itself went very quickly and before I knew it I was home again. Told my husband I was back, he said I was so quick he hardly realised I was gone.

So tomorrow I can shelter from the bad weather with a clear conscience as it's a rest day :)

Managing kit is such a battle at the moment!! Glad you got out. It sounds like we’re of the same opinion on that run. Nice to see Coach B but would have liked him for a bit longer!!

The gas boiler guys turned up between taking the stuff out of the washer and putting it to dry. It's not like this in the summer, is it?

I'm sure Coach B will be back, for longer, before we know it 😂

Summer? What’s that? I can barely remember! I’ll take rain over extreme heat any day though!

Actually you've got a good point, it's almost impossible for me to run in the heat

It felt very odd to be running for such a short time, kept expecting people to challenge me 'Oi, you only just ran past me a minute ago!' 😂

It's raining here too now. Again. Oh well, the great British weather eh?

It's certainly been very British lately, short runs are good
