First Oregon run

So I arrived yesterday to stay with my brother in law in Hillsboro, just outside Portland, Oregon.

After 24 hours awake, flying and catching up I went to bed at about 11pm last night only for my body clock to wake me up at 3 this morning telling me I should be up and about.

After trying unsuccessfully for a couple of hours to get back to sleep and seeing the sun was coming up I gave up, got the gear on and went out for a slow jog along the main street.

All very quiet, it's Memorial Day here so a bank holiday but it was good to see a few other runners plus lots if birds, none of which I could identify.

I will probably go for a few other morning runs whilst out here.

Run happy, run safe.

So did you get back to sleep?

Enjoy your holiday. Your bank holiday run sounds much more enjoyable than mine 🙄

Nice to get a run in despite the jet lag. Hopefully it’ll help get your system into Oregon time. Enjoy your holiday running 🙂
